Fire accident in the fish production unit of Premia Foods AS in Uusikaupunki

Yesterday morning there was a fire accident in the fish production unit of
Premia Foods AS in Finland, Uusikaupunki that is mainly focused on production
of smoked fish products primarily for the Finnish market. The fire was put out
by the noon of the same day and no people were hurt in the accident. Damage
caused by the fire accident and potential impact to the business activities are
yet to be clarified.

The production facilities of Uusikaupunki are leased and AS Premia Foods owns
the production equipment in order to carry out the production activities. The
facilities as well as the production equipment are insured and in addition to
that the company has acquired business interruption insurance covering twelve
months gross profit up to 6 million euro and six months variable labour costs
up to 1.25 million euro.

The main fish production unit of Premia Foods AS is located in Estonia,
Saaremaa. The production activities in the fish production unit in Uusikaupunki
will be partially continued already next week.
