ELKO Grupa JSC becomes distributor of Sony Optiarc Europe products in the
Ukraine

One of the leading wholesalers of IT products and components in Eastern Europe
and the largest company in Latvia, ELKO Grupa JSC (ELKO Group), has become
official distributor in the Ukraine of optical disc drives products from Sony
Optiarc Europe (Optiarc).

This collaboration in the Ukrainian market has been started in order to
strengthen the relationship with present customers and to attract new ones by
means of the advantages provided by the official ELKO Group distributor, which
will ensure competitive prices and, a direct supply service, as well as the
full range of optical disc drives for the customers. DVD RW, DVD ROM as well as
products with Blu-ray DiscTM technology (the next-generation optical disc),
which are being introduced into the market very rapidly, are among the most
popular Optiarc products. The major highlight AD-7240S - the world's first DVD
burner which achieves a 24x burning rate, is being offered.

In this market segment, ELKO Group is an experienced distributor of Optiarc
products in the Baltic States and Central and Eastern European countries where
it is already represented. It has been decided to enlarge the territory of this
already existing collaboration because Optiarc products are in demand and
popular in the Ukrainian market. The stability of the Latvian company and its
success in overcoming the conditions caused by the economic crisies was one of
the reasons choosing ELKO Group company as an official distributor of optical
disc drivers in the Ukraine.
