Update on the Rules for the Construction and Maintenance of the NASDAQ OMX
Baltic Equity Indexes due to the company classification standard change
As announced on October 26, 2011 (see the following link for more information:
www.nasdaqomx.com/classificationchanges), NASDAQ OMX will adopt the Industry
Classification Benchmark (ICB) as a company classification standard within the
company. The change will be effective as of February 1, 2012.
All NASDAQ OMX local and regional sector indexes, based on the GICS structure,
will be discontinued as of February 1, 2012, and replaced by equivalent indexes
based on the ICB structure.
The Baltic Benchmark Index will have its selection methods revised during the
second quarter of 2012. The revised rules will be made effective in connection
to the mid-year reviews in June, 2012.
